How do I perform an InstaPay transaction with Malayan Bank?
InstaPay send-out transaction is initially available through its branches via over-the-counter facility. Malayan Bank accountholder can visit any Malayan Bank branch and fill out the InstaPay send-out form with the following details:
- Account Number
- Account Name
- Account Type
- Receiver Name
- Receiver Bank
- Receiver Account Number
- Transaction Amount
- Purpose
How much can I transact using Instapay?
InstaPay has a maximum transfer limit of Php50,000 per transaction. Amount as low as Php 1.00 is accepted and processed.
Is there a limit to the number of times I can send an InstaPay transaction?
None, but you can only transfer up to P50,000 per transaction.
Are there fees for using InstaPay?
A fee of PhP 15.00 will be charged per request from the source account. Receiving account will be credited the full amount transferred.
When can the receiver receive their funds to their accounts?
Immediately, once the branch has completed the processing of your transfer request, funds is available and ready for withdrawal.
What happens if the transaction was successful but the funds are not yet available to the receiver?
- If the receiving account number is valid, receiving institution shall handle the manual crediting of funds to the account.
- If the receiving account number is not valid, receiving institution shall process reversal of payment to Malayan Bank. Malayan Bank shall credit to sender’s account within the day, once the payment from the receiving institution has been received. Typically, it will take around 1 to 2 banking days.
Can I also receive funds from other banks via Instapay?
Yes. You can receive funds from other institution using instapay. Just ensure to provide your 11-digit Malayan Bank account number.
If I send to my Malayan Bank account via Instapay, when will the funds be available?
Transaction will be credited to your account immediately.
