Atty. Augusto A. Martirez
Chairman

Atty. Martirez is also Chairman of the Board of the following companies: Majalco, Inc., Unicapital, Inc., CCC Insurance Corporation, Midland Asia Pacific Assets, Inc., ACME Pawnshops, Inc., MJ Realty Holdings, Inc., and Insular Rural Bank. He is among the Board of Directors of Unicapital Securities. He is Vice Chairman of Midland Pacific Development Corporation and President of Majalco Finance and Investment, Inc. Atty. Martirez acquired his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1942. He is a Papal Knight: Saint Gregory the Great and Knight of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

Atty. Felipe L. Gozon

Atty. Gozon is also a Co-Managing Partner in Belo Gozon Elma Parel Asuncion and Lucila Law Office. Atty. Gozon is the Chairman of the Board of the following companies: GMA Network, Inc., GMA Marketing and Production, Alta Power Production, Inc., Mont-Aire Realty and Development Corp., Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko Foundation, Kilos Bayan Foundation, Majalco Finance and Investment, Inc., FLG Mgmt. & Development Corp., GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc., RGMA Network, Inc., and The Potter and the Clay Christian School. He was the Vice President for Legal Matters in Philippine Airlines from 1970 to 1972. He was also Director of International Corporate Bank and President of the Philippine Bar Association from 1988 to 1989. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of the Philippines in 1960 and obtained his Masters of Laws from Yale University in 1965.

William Carlos Uy

Mr. Uy is a Director and the Corporate Treasurer of Malayan Bank. Mr. Uy is a major stockholder in Liberty Flourmills, Inc. He is also a Director of CCC Insurance Corporation. Mr. Uy obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Letran College.

George J. Martirez

Mr. Martirez is also a Director of Unicapital, Inc. and Vice President of Majalco, Inc. Prior to his appointment in Malayan Bank, he was a Senior Vice President of CCC Insurance Company. Mr. Martirez received his Bachelor of Science, major in Commerce Degree from De La Salle University in 1973. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines in 1978. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Makati East and the Management Association of the Philippines.

Atty. Jose Mario Buñag

Atty. Buñag is also a Director of the following companies: Unicapital, Inc., Majalco, Inc. and Lacson & Lacson Insurance Brokers, Inc. Concurrently, He is the President of Scanmar Maritime Services, Inc., Skanfil Maritime Services, Inc, and Chairman of Becton Holding Corp. He is also a Partner in the law firm of Bunag & Uy. He was assigned as the Officer-in-Charge for the Philippine Sugar Corporation in years 1992-2002. In July 2005, he was appointed as the Commissioner of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Atty. Buñag acquired his Bachelor of Laws from Ateneo de Manila in 1968. In 1973, he completed his Master of Comparative Jurisprudence (MCJ) in NJU School of Law.



Laura J. Westfall

Mr. Martirez is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Majalco Finance and Investment, Inc. He graduated from De La Salle University in 1975 with a degree in Business Administration. Manuel R. Chanco III

Mr. Manny Chanco III has been the Vice President of Sunvar Realty since 1999. He is also the Comptroller of Lexmedia, Priximar Realty, and Capri Realty. Aside from working with the aforementioned companies, he is the Chief Finance Officer of Kuni Philippines and Corogn Digital and Director of KGlobal Limited and Inem Its Co, Ltd. Mr. Chanco graduated from FEU, with a degree in Accounting.

J. Ferdinand De Luzuriaga

Mr. De Luzuriaga is also Malayan Bank’s Executive Director. Mr. De Luzuriaga has a total of 21 years experience in financial services. He worked at Unicapital Inc., from 1996 to 1999 as First Vice President handling corporate finance, credit and relationship management. He joined the AMA Group of Companies from 1999 to 2005 as Senior Vice President for Financial Services and was actively involved in AMA Group’s expansion overseas. Mr. De Luzuriaga was appointed Chief Financial Adviser of the Inquirer Group and Philippine Daily Inquirer in May 2005. As a consultant, he continues to oversee PDI’s Finance Division and advices Inquirer’s top management on the group’s subsidiaries and affiliates. Mr. De Luzuriaga graduated from the University of the Philippines. He also took further studies at the Asian Institute of Management and in INSEAD. In July 2007, he was appointed as President of LINQ Information Entertainment Quadrant (Philippines and Singapore) in a concurrent capacity.
